What the quote got me thinking about is that there can be a disconnect between what a system says it achieves or what you want it achieve vs what it actually achieves.
The challenge with any system is that it’s optimised to achieve specific outcomes. If you don’t like the outcomes a lot of tinkering, experimenting, or complete overhaul of the system is needed.
This can apply to systems in your personal life, in a business, in an industry or a country.
