The joy of sitting in the forest

October 5, 2019

Several weeks ago I went out and sat in nature for a good hour.

Just me and myself and the gentle sound of waves hitting the shore.

Letting the silence wash over me felt like a bath for my soul.

All worries, all tension washed away.

Taking deep breaths in and deep breaths out I felt RICH.

Like Scrooge McDuck swimming in gold coins rich. So abundant and free, nowhere to be, nowhere to go, no text messages, no demands on my attention, just me and the expansiveness of nature around me.
