Branding for a venture capital firm made whilst working at L&A Social Media.

Iconoclastic Design

The founders of Winston Capital wanted a brand identity that showed they were conservative and could be relied on, but were a little iconoclastic like their namesake Winston Churchill.

This visual solution was to create a wax seal logo mark and pair it with Didot and Helvetica fonts. Didot is a nod to the past whilst Helvetica is used to communicate crisp modernity. The wax seal is reminiscnent of officialdom whilst its floral shape hints at the flair Winston Churchill showed when wearing flowers in his suit lapels.

Looks great in all configurations

Whether the logo is stacked for letter heads, or is horizontal for website use, it looks great in all configurations.
